SEO - Search Engine Optimization is a grind. For any given business, there are several keywords that provide value when the website ranks well in search engine results. For us here at Nerdy Dragon, we took aim at a variety of keywords, with "Web Design Boise" being one of the more competitive.
Today, we've reached a significant SEO Boise Milestone, being placed in the top have of the search results for the "Web Design Boise" keyword. This is one of the keywords in the web design and development business that generates the most traffic and opportunities for leads.
This process has taken several months, with a variety of techniques used. We wrote blog entries, organized our blog, built back links, enhanced our code, reduced our page load time, and sustained efforts with consistent focus. We checked out the competition, analyzed our current approach with the information we uncovered while researching, and continued to grind it out.
We went from being nowhere, to page 7, then page 4, page 3, and the bottom of page 2. We sat at pages 2 and 3 for a few months. We watched companies that we collaborate jump ahead and fall behind, keeping a steady hand and staying our course. Today, is a proud day...the culmination of a variety of efforts.
Since being placed well isn't enough, we've also spent a lot of time focusing our efforts on improving the conversion quality of our website. We've revamped our messaging, graphic design, copy, and usability.
There's still work to do, however, being a Boise SEO Company with solid placement across a variety of web design and development related terms is validation of our efforts...oh, and there's also a good batch of new clients we've picked up from our website.
